Organised thematically, (general texts, anti-competitive practices, mergers, state aid, foreign subsidies - FSR - and Digital Markets Act - DMA) and updated with the latest developments in competition law, this compendium provides quick and efficient access to the legal sources in the field. Designed to meet the practical needs of both law students and competition practitioners, this work is an indispensable tool for both. <br> Competition law is not exempt from a current trend: there is a profusion of norms. It is true that, since the spread of the Internet, these various sources are accessible online on the official websites of European institutions alike, but even if a classification is made – thewebsite of the European Commission’s DG Competition comes to mind in particular – there is no overall, systematic presentation. The aim of Christophe Lemaire, who is well aware of the difficulties he encounters on a daily basis as a lawyer and academic, was to remedy this shortcoming. His Compendium presents the sources of both European Union law in an orderly and parallel fashion, following a logical and identical presentation for the three components of competition law: anti-competitive practices, merger control and state aid.
