SUDDEN TRAUMA INFORMATION SERVICE HELPLINE (STISH)

Based at ACIS (a project of Mental Health Aberdeen), this is a confidential helpline service for survivors of all kinds of sudden trauma (e.g., road traffic accidents, assault, industrial and domestic accidents, and traumatic bereavement, e.g. sudden death). Please contact the helpline should you require information or advice, or if you have any queries about the information provided on this website in terms of:

• children-related issues
• legal matters
• financial aspects

*  Helpline arrangements for Christmas and New Year 2009/10: The Helpline will operate on an voicemail only service between Monday 21 December 2009 - Monday 4 January 2010.   If you leave a message, you can be assured that we will return your call just as soon as we can. 

Landline calls are charged at:
          3.36 pence per minute peak rate
          1.26 pence per minute off peak (after 1900 hours)
          0.08 pence per minute at weekends

Mobile calls are charged at:
          18 pence per minute peak rate
          14 pence per minute off peak (after 1900 hours)
          10 pence per minute at weekends
