Work almost exclusively with domestic violence, and mainly with people who have problems of being abusive and or aggressive and or violent towards their intimate partner or an ex-partner, who refer themselves, having recognised they have problems with their own behaviour.  Offer telephone support, face-to-face meetings and intensive courses for people who need to understand the impact of their behaviour, find out what is wrong with themselves and learn to change their behaviour.

Provides advice, support and refuge for women and children who are the victims of domestic abuse. GWA also provides counseling to men who are victims.
Grampian Women's Aid (GWA) run two Refuges for women and children affected by domestic Abuse in Aberdeenshire, one in Banchory and one in Turriff, in addition to refuges in Aberdeen City.  Grampian Women's Aid offers support and information to anyone affected by Domestic Abuse. Good quality refuge accommodation is available to women (with or without children) regardless of age, disability, ethnicity or financial means who are experiencing domestic abuse. Both Aberdeenshire Refuges are fully accessible to anyone with disabilities.
